New Year’s Eve is a night to party. We celebrate with friends and family in an effort to say goodbye to last year and welcome the endless possibilities of what is to come in the new year. Please be very careful celebrating. Drinking is fun; but, one drink leads to two drinks, leads to three drinks, etc.
Police will be patrolling heavily throughout the west valley this weekend. The task forces will include Peoria, Glendale, Buckeye, Goodyear, Avondale, and Surprise. If you live in these areas or are visiting, be extremely careful!
I am convinced, people don’t drink and drive on purpose. There are two reasons people get behind the wheel after they’ve been drinking. First, they don’t feel the effects of alcohol. This is very common for someone who has a high tolerance. Second, they just aren’t thinking clearly. Remember, alcohol impairs our ability to rationalize. The safest bet on New Year’s Eve is to have a designated driver or take a cab. Even if you have had one drink, it really isn’t worth it. A cab will always be a lot cheaper than a DUI.
If, however, you or a loved one has been arrested for a DUI in Peoria, Glendale, Avondale, or Phoenix, call our office for a free consultation. We are a premier Arizona DUI law firm who provides clients with exceptional outcomes for their DUI cases.
If you are thinking of hiring a lawyer, don’t roll the dice on just any lawyer. You need an attorney who works hard and is honest. Call our office to speak to an attorney for free!
