A veteran Arizona trial attorney, Jeff is known for his broad criminal law experience and deep understanding of firearms and self-defense issues.
Jeff received his Juris Doctorate with a Certificate in Criminal Law from the University of Arizona College of Law in 2008, where he was awarded the Dean’s Recognition Award for his work in successfully drafting a revision to Arizona’s accomplice liability law.
After graduating, Jeff worked for both the Pima and Maricopa County Attorney’s Offices, with assignments in misdemeanor and DUI courts, Mental Health Court, narcotics, and a trial group where he focused on violent- and weapon-based offenses, and was assigned as an on-call prosecutor to respond to and advise at homicide scenes.
As a defense attorney, Jeff has handled misdemeanor and felony cases across all 14 of Arizona’s counties. Jeff has conducted over 30 jury trials, ranging from Reckless Driving and DUI to Trafficking in Dangerous Drugs and Aggravated Assault, as well as hundreds of bench trials and evidentiary hearings.
An avid shooter, Jeff is an expert in firearms and self-defense law. As an NRA- and USCCA-certified firearms instructor, Jeff teaches concealed carry classes in his spare time, as well as conducting legal seminars as part of the USCCA’s Preferred Attorney Network.
You’re not hiring a solo attorney juggling 200 cases. You’re hiring a multi-attorney criminal defense firm with former prosecutors who know exactly how the State builds cases—and how to dismantle them. Our team includes specialists, military veterans, and a Harvard Law graduate.
We handle 100+ criminal cases every month across Arizona. When prosecutors see our name on the case, they know you came to fight. We’ve defended thousands of Arizonans facing everything from misdemeanor DUIs to serious felonies. This is what we do. This is all we do.
