This week, my office has been inundated with phone calls for reckless operation of a watercraft in Lake Havasu. In other words, if officer Jones believes that the way you were driving your boat or your JetSki is reckless then Officer Jones can cite you for reckless operation of a watercraft. On the other hand, if officer Martinez does not find that the way you are operating your boat was reckless, then officer Martinez simply does not have to cite you with a reckless operation watercraft charge.
Every year during spring break, Lake Havasu is overrun with teenagers out to celebrate the end of the school term. While many of the revelers who flock to Lake Havasu behave in accordance with the law, some minors take the opportunity to let their hair down. Regardless of how well a minor conducts him or
