Biography
Tim Derden is an Air Force veteran and a former prosecutor. After serving his country both at home and abroad, Tim pursued and received an undergraduate degree in Criminology. During his undergrad years, Tim found a passion for the world of criminal law, theory, and study. Naturally this led him to Arizona State University where Tim received his law degree.
After graduating law school, Tim found himself in the position of working for the law school where he was able to work on smart technology governance where he authored an article on self-driving cars and how the law handles such emerging technologies. From there, he became a prosecutor where he handled hundreds of cases. During his time as a prosecutor Tim gained a great deal of insight and understanding which he now uses to help defend his clients.
Through his time working with various organizations and firms, Tim has developed a wealth of experience in the law to couple with his experience in the military and college life. He has a unique worldview shaped by his varied experience and training. As an avionics technician in the Air Force, Tim learned the importance of attention to even the smallest detail, he learned the signature discipline and mission orientation of the military, as a prosecutor he learned how the State views criminal offenses and prosecutes them. As a college student he studied the science surrounding crime, criminality, and criminal investigations. This unique history allows Tim to work through his cases with detail oriented focus, knowing what to look for and how to use it to the best advantage for his clients.
