Brian Robles
Attorney
Biography
Born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, Brian Robles has deep roots in the state and a strong commitment to its people. For him, Arizona is more than home—it’s the community he is dedicated to protecting. A proud graduate of the University of Arizona, Brian earned both his Juris Doctor from the James E. Rogers College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, laying the foundation for a career devoted to justice.
Before joining Matthew Lopez Law Firm as a criminal defense attorney, Brian served as a prosecutor in the Pima County Attorney’s Office, managing a high-volume caseload in the Domestic Violence Precinct. He litigated bench and jury trials, handled complex evidentiary hearings, negotiated misdemeanor compromises, and drafted strategic motions. His time in the Domestic Violence Precinct honed his ability to work closely with both victims and defendants, approaching sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication. This prosecutorial background also gives him rare insight into how the State builds its cases—and, more importantly, how to find and challenge their weaknesses.
Earlier in his career, Brian spent more than five years as a legal assistant in the personal injury and wrongful death field, contributing to large, high-stakes cases, preparing key evidence, conducting in-depth legal research, and authoring legal articles. Today, he blends this experience with trial-tested advocacy to deliver strategic, results-driven defense for his clients.
