Alex Romero was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. He is passionate about criminal justice and serving his community. Alex has an interdisciplinary bachelor’s degree in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics and Government from American University in Washington, D.C. Alex then returned home to earn his law degree from Arizona State University.
During law school, Alex gained legal experience by interning for the City of Phoenix Prosecutor’s Office where he developed an interest in criminal law. After graduating law school, Alex worked for a personal injury and medical malpractice law firm for several years before joining Matthew Lopez Law. Alex’s experience representing injured persons against large insurance companies now helps him represent people facing criminal charges due to difficult and unforeseen situations.
