Halloween is one of the busiest weekends for DUI arrests. People are having fun and going to dress up parties. The good news is throughout Arizona, DUIs over Halloween weekend were down in 2016. Compared to the 320 DUI arrests last year, only 209 people were arrested this year. Although the arrest rate is down, the average blood alcohol content is a littler higher – 0.158 compared to .151.

What to Do if You’ve Been Arrested
With every DUI, there are some immediate things that need to be done. The first is your driver’s license. If we don’t request an administrative hearing with the MVD, your license will be suspended for 90 days. The request must be made in writing and must be done within 15 days of your arrest. The MVD does not provide exceptions. This is something we do in every single one of our DUI cases.
